$22 million initiative launched to support education for 200,000 children in Sudan

The ongoing civil war in Sudan continues to leave millions of children without access to classrooms, severely disrupting their education. In response to this crisis, the UN global education fund announced on Monday a $22 million initiative aimed at helping 200,000 youngsters return to learning. The prolonged conflict has devastated educational infrastructure across the country, posing a significant threat to the academic future of the younger generation.
