Iranian Military Claims Restoration of Weapon Systems and Agreement with Oman on Strait of Hormuz

The spokesperson for the Iranian military announced on Wednesday that all weapon systems damaged during conflicts with Israel and the United States have been restored. He added that, in addition to these, new systems have been acquired through domestic defense industries and imports, which he claimed have strengthened Iran's operational capabilities. In a separate development, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported progress in negotiations with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC spokesperson claimed that agreements have been reached concerning the respective roles of Iran and Oman in the strait, although full details of the agreement have not yet been released. The Tasnim news agency reported that despite these talks, tensions with the United States over freedom of navigation and sanctions remain unresolved. The IRGC spokesperson further alleged that the United States is creating obstacles in the negotiations between Iran and Oman, causing delays, and emphasized that the opening of the Strait of Hormuz is contingent upon Washington accepting Iran's conditions.
