YouTube subscription costs rise by 25% in Israel

Google has announced an increase in subscription costs for its YouTube Premium and YouTube Music services in Israel. This price adjustment, which appears to be the first since the services launched in the country, affects individual, family, and student plans. According to Google, the individual YouTube Premium subscription will rise from 23.90 NIS to 29.90 NIS per month, representing an increase of approximately 25%. The family plan will increase from 45.90 NIS to 54.90 NIS, while the student plan will rise from 15.90 NIS to 18.90 NIS. Additionally, the monthly price for an individual YouTube Music plan will increase from 19.90 NIS to 23.90 NIS. Google stated that the price hike is intended to support the continued development of the services, provide ongoing support for content creators and artists, and improve the subscriber experience. The new pricing is already in effect for new subscribers, while existing subscribers will be charged the updated rates starting with their next billing cycle following advance notice.
