Fuel tanker explosion in western Iran leaves 10 dead

State media in Iran reported that 10 people were killed following the explosion of a fuel tanker on the Hamadan-Sanandaj highway. According to these reports, the incident was caused by a technical failure in the tanker's braking system. The local governor confirmed the incident, adding that six other people were injured. Local authorities have confirmed that the fire resulting from the explosion has since been brought under control.
