Tony Awards Extends CBS Broadcast Agreement Through 2032
According to Deadline, the Tony Awards, honoring the best of Broadway, has extended its broadcast agreement with CBS through 2032. The deal was announced Wednesday by CBS and the Tony producers, the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League. The Tonys have been broadcast on CBS for the past 48 years, with the first broadcast on the network dating back to 1978.
