Mohsen Rezaei Threatens: Oil Exports from Persian Gulf Will Stop if Economic War Continues

Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, sent a stern message to Washington in response to recent remarks by US President Donald Trump. Rezaei threatened that if the economic war against Iran continues, not a single drop of oil will be exported through the Strait of Hormuz or anywhere else in the Persian Gulf. He further emphasized that the Islamic Republic would consider any country's participation in or support for America's economic war against the Iranian people as an act of war. These remarks come in response to Trump's pledge to implement an economic 'D-Day' against Tehran. In a post on the Truth social network, Trump declared that this would be the most crushing economic operation ever taken against any country, aimed at unprecedented isolation of Iran. The US President also warned countries that any assistance to Iran in bypassing sanctions would face severe economic consequences. Trump, referring to Iran's economic situation, claimed these measures are necessary to cripple the country's ability to spread terrorism and to ensure Iran never acquires nuclear weapons.
