CENTCOM strikes IRGC military infrastructure; senior Hamas official arrested

US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the conclusion of a new wave of strikes targeting military infrastructure belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The strikes targeted air defense sites, radar systems, maritime assets, mine-laying capabilities, and communication facilities. Unverified reports suggest that the aircraft carrying Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was forced to land following the activation of air defenses. Additionally, the Jordanian Armed Forces claimed to have intercepted 10 Iranian missiles.

In a separate development, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the arrest of Ismail al-Thawabta, the director of the Hamas-run government media office in Gaza, during a special operation. Katz stated that Israel does not wait for threats but actively pursues Hamas operatives to dismantle their infrastructure. Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon in response to a drone attack on Israeli troops. The IDF stated that it will continue operations in the region to counter Hezbollah's ongoing attempts to target its forces.
