Two UAE Tankers Attacked by Drones in Strait of Hormuz

The United Arab Emirates Foreign Ministry stated that two tankers operated by Abu Dhabi’s state-owned oil company, ADNOC, were attacked by drones on Thursday evening while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE condemned the incident as a "flagrant violation" of freedom of navigation, accusing Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps of piracy and using the waterway for economic coercion. The British military’s United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Center confirmed that two vessels sustained minor damage in a drone attack in the area. Iran has not yet responded to the allegations.
