Fremantle revenue dips as half-year profits reach $69.2 million

Fremantle, the production company behind the AMC+ series 'Kilroy', experienced a decline in revenue during the first half of 2026, though its profits rose to nearly $70 million. According to results published this morning by Fremantle's parent company, RTL, the London-based firm's revenue reached €835 million, approximately $963 million. This represents a 7.7 per cent decrease compared to the €905 million recorded in the same period last year. RTL attributed the decline to the timing effects within Fremantle's drama and film business, noting that revenue from entertainment and documentaries remained largely stable. RTL expects the revenue dip to reverse in the second half of 2026, with the company projected to post figures slightly higher than the previous year due to upcoming productions. Key projects mentioned include 'Kilroy' for AMC+ and the 'Baywatch' reboot for Fox.
