Ratko Mladic, Bosnian Serb general convicted of genocide, dies at 84

According to a report by the Times of Israel, Ratko Mladic, the Bosnian Serb military commander convicted of genocide and war crimes, has died at the age of 84. Reports indicate that he passed away in a UN prison hospital in The Hague. Mladic had been serving a life sentence for his key role in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre and the prolonged siege of Sarajevo, as determined by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
