Israeli aid group to open medical clinic for children in Gaza

The Israeli humanitarian organization Natan is set to open a medical clinic in the Al-Qarara area of southern Gaza on September 1. The facility, part of the 'Gaza Children Village' initiative, is expected to serve approximately 10,000 children living in displacement camps in the Mawasi area. Palestinian medical staff will provide direct care, while Natan will supply medical equipment and facilitate remote consultations with Israeli doctors. Natan CEO Alice Miller stated that the clinic is a direct response to the urgent needs observed among children in the area. The project was funded by donations from Israelis and American Jews. Natan, named after Israeli peace activist Abie Nathan, has operated in disaster zones globally for years. Miller emphasized the humanitarian nature of the work, stating that she does not engage in politics and believes in showing compassion toward civilians and children even during wartime.
