Three incidents of Israelis entering Palestinian-controlled areas and their subsequent rescue

According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit and the Civil Administration, three separate incidents occurred early Monday morning in which Israeli citizens entered Area A in the West Bank. In the first incident, an armed individual, identified by security officials as a reserve soldier not in uniform, entered the Palestinian village of Ein Arik west of Ramallah. He was detained by Palestinian Authority security forces and transferred to the Civil Administration. In a second incident, a Jewish woman was located in Jericho and evacuated by officers from the Jordan Valley District Coordination and Liaison Administration; initial inquiries suggest she entered the city deliberately. Simultaneously, an Israeli man described as being in an unstable mental state was spotted in Bethlehem and subsequently handed over to security forces following reports from local residents. The IDF stated that all three cases have been referred to the Judea and Samaria District Police for further handling. The Civil Administration reiterated that entering Area A is prohibited by law and poses a significant threat to life.
