Sayed Abu Farchi Nears Colorado Rapids Move; Awaiting Final Contract Approval

Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Sayed Abu Farchi is on the verge of joining the Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer (MLS). According to a report by Sport 1, following an agreement between the two clubs on a $6 million base transfer fee, the player's personal contract has been finalized and submitted to the MLS league office for approval. Under MLS regulations, all player contracts must be ratified by the league administration. Abu Farchi's contract includes performance-based incentives tied to goals scored and appearances. Despite the pending move, the striker is expected to continue training with Maccabi Tel Aviv, though he is unlikely to feature in the upcoming Toto Cup semi-final against Maccabi Netanya. His recent substitute appearance against CSKA Sofia is expected to be his final match for the club. The transfer agreement also includes $1 million in potential performance bonuses and a sell-on clause for Maccabi Tel Aviv should Abu Farchi be transferred to a club outside the United States in the future. It is estimated that Abu Farchi will travel to the United States on Tuesday.
