Call for a free Iran echoes at the United Nations

As Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the United Nations General Assembly, thousands of protesters gathered outside the UN headquarters in New York to chant against the regime ruling Iran. Demonstrators waved flags and demanded accountability for the regime's alleged terrorism and domestic suppression. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani addressed the gathering, dismissing the possibility of negotiations with the regime and comparing its leadership to historical dictators. Retired Lt. General Keith Kellogg called for a roadmap toward a secular, non-nuclear Iran, while former U.S. Ambassador Marc Ginsberg urged Congress to pass legislation to restrict the regime's resources and support internet freedom for the Iranian people. Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, stated in a video message that the people of Iran have rejected all forms of dictatorship, whether religious or monarchical. Alireza Jafarzadeh, deputy director of the NCRI's Washington office, told Fox News that the regime is incapable of reform and that real change must come from within Iran through the will of its people.
