Liverpool agree £123 million fee for PSG’s Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have agreed a deal worth up to £123 million to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola. The package includes an initial fee of £106 million with an additional £17 million in potential add-ons. The 23-year-old is expected to undergo a medical in Liverpool over the weekend, though he will not be available for Saturday's Premier League match against Nottingham Forest. Barcola, who starred for France at this summer's World Cup, is expected to bolster Liverpool's attacking options following the departure of Mohamed Salah. Reds manager Andoni Iraola addressed speculation regarding the future of Cody Gakpo, stating he cannot guarantee anything but hopes to keep the forward at the club. With this signing, Liverpool's total summer spending will reach approximately £215 million.
