Longtime host Michael Wilbon steps away from ESPN due to ‘health issues’
According to the Guardian, Michael Wilbon, the 68-year-old co-host of ESPN’s 'Pardon the Interruption', announced on Monday that he is taking a leave of absence due to what he described as 'multiple health issues'. Writing on X, Wilbon expressed hope that his time on the 'injured list' would not be extended. He noted that people in his personal life had observed 'worrisome signs' in recent years that he had largely ignored, while clarifying that the issues are not related to alcohol or gambling. Wilbon, who has co-hosted the show with Tony Kornheiser for 25 years, last appeared on air on 26 October and stated his goal is to return feeling better.
