Mohsen Rezaee claims Iran sells oil daily to American ships

Mohsen Rezaee, a senior official in the Islamic Republic, has claimed that Iran has successfully generated billions of dollars in oil revenue despite ongoing US sanctions. Regarding the scale of these exports, he stated, "In the past month or two, we sold seventy million barrels of oil." The official further alleged that Iran is currently selling oil to American ships on a daily basis, matching its total production capacity. These remarks come as negotiations between Iran and the United States regarding the easing of tensions and the nuclear deal remain largely stalled. The Jerusalem Post reports that these claims are being framed by Tehran as evidence that Washington's economic pressure campaign has been ineffective.
