Taylor Swift’s Canceled Vienna Concerts Due to Thwarted Terrorist Plot to Be Subject of Documentary

According to a report by Variety, in August 2024 three dates of Taylor Swift's global Eras tour in Vienna were canceled after authorities were warned of a terrorist plot. The in-depth story of this planned jihadist attack, which was thwarted by Austrian authorities thanks in part to a tip-off from U.S. intelligence, is now the subject of a high-profile documentary with the working title Taylor Swift Wien, co-directed by Andreas Pichler and Veronika Kaserer. The documentary will juxtapose two youth subcultures: the inclusive and empowered world of Swifties and a realm of toxic masculinity fueled by online radicalization.
