Turkish flag spotted on Route 60; Zvi Yehezkeli warns of Erdogan’s influence

Arab affairs analyst Zvi Yehezkeli reported on his Telegram channel that he spotted a Turkish flag displayed on a Palestinian vehicle while driving on Route 60, between Gush Etzion and Jerusalem. He described the sighting as a significant indicator of growing admiration for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan among Palestinians. Yehezkeli noted that such displays were not common ten or twenty years ago, suggesting that Turkey is now increasingly viewed as a savior by some in the Palestinian community. The analyst questioned whether a vehicle displaying an Israeli flag would be permitted to travel in Turkey, and expressed concern over Turkey's shift toward becoming a strategic adversary. Yehezkeli concluded his remarks by warning that the small flag carries a significant message, characterizing it as a potential precursor to jihadist activity.
