Firefighting crews battle blaze at vehicle lot in Kiryat Arba

Israeli firefighting and rescue crews are working to contain a massive fire that broke out on Saturday night at a vehicle dismantling lot in the Kiryat Arba industrial zone. As of now, 17 firefighting crews equipped with aerial platforms and water supply vehicles, alongside dozens of volunteers, are operating at the scene. The operation is being conducted in close cooperation with the IDF, which has provided water tankers, and the Israel Police, which has closed access roads to the area. To halt the spread of the flames, heavy engineering equipment has been deployed to move undamaged vehicles and create a firebreak. Thick smoke continues to rise from the compound, and intense heat radiation is being reported in the immediate vicinity.
