Netanyahu at Hermon Summit: Main Task is Defeating Iran’s Terror Regime

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Mount Hermon summit in Syria on Wednesday, accompanied by Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Tamir Yadai. Netanyahu stated that Israel now maintains absolute control over the entire area from the summit of Mount Hermon to the Yarmouk River and the Mediterranean Sea, describing it as an unprecedented security situation. He emphasized that Israel will not permit any terror army to establish itself on its borders, characterizing this as a major achievement of the 'War of Revival.' Stressing that the campaign is ongoing, the Prime Minister declared that the primary task remains the defeat of the terror regime in Iran. He claimed that Israel is very close to achieving this goal and that the entire axis will ultimately fall. During the visit, the participants received a security briefing on ongoing operations in the sector from Northern Command Commander Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo and 210th Division Commander Brig. Gen. Yair Peli.
