All’s Fair season two review – am I delirious … or is this getting good?
In her review for The Guardian, Lucy Mangan describes the second season of 'All’s Fair' as remaining fundamentally ludicrous. The legal drama, starring Glenn Close, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash-Betts as lawyers at an all-female California firm, continues to suffer from narrative weaknesses. However, Mangan notes that the second season shows signs of improvement, including meta-textual references to the actors' real lives and a shift toward a more self-aware, campy tone. While the show remains filled with absurd plot points—such as the use of invisible ink in legal cases—Mangan concludes that it is beginning to grope its way toward 'so bad it’s good' territory, ultimately awarding it one star.
