Iran Warns Gulf Neighbors Against Assisting US Military, Threatens Strikes in Europe

Ali Abdollahi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, warned Gulf countries that any assistance or facilitation provided to the US military would be considered participation in American military operations, according to Iran’s Mehr news agency. Abdollahi stated that Iran is fully aware of the presence of US military aircraft at regional bases and warned host countries that they are being monitored. Meanwhile, a Financial Times report citing regime insiders suggests that Iran is considering targeting US military assets in Europe, specifically in Bulgaria or Cyprus, should fighting escalate. The sources indicated that if the US attacks Iranian infrastructure, Tehran would have no limits on its response, potentially expanding the conflict beyond the Middle East.
