UAE lawyer turns van into mobile office to beat traffic

Abdullah Al Nasser, founder of Araa Advocates Group, decided to change his service model after being delayed for a meeting in Ajman due to traffic. By equipping a Mercedes Maybach van with office amenities and high-speed internet, he now provides over 70 per cent of his legal services while on the move. The mobile office features large screens for virtual meetings and space for face-to-face consultations. Al Nasser states that this initiative leverages the UAE's advanced digital infrastructure to increase workplace flexibility. His clients, including Salah Ahmed, have welcomed the innovation, describing it as a fast and efficient way to access legal services without the hassle of finding parking. However, Al Nasser clarifies that formal court hearings are not conducted from the vehicle, as they require specific settings to maintain the dignity of the judiciary.
