Australia beats Argentina 27-21 in first rugby test match

The Australian national rugby team secured a 27-21 victory over Argentina in the first of two test matches held in Jujuy, Argentina. This marks Australia's third consecutive win under new head coach Les Kiss.

However, the Australian defense held firm against Argentina's late attempts to snatch a win. Backrower Tom Hooper, who scored his first try in three years during the 53rd minute, credited the team's mindset and training under Kiss for the result. The two teams are scheduled to meet again for the second test match of the series.
