Callum Turner emerges as James Bond favourite as Pierce Brosnan endorses actor: ‘He’s so strong’
According to the Guardian, ten days after final screen tests for the most coveted role in British cinema, Callum Turner has emerged as a strong favourite to don the 007 tux for Denis Villeneuve’s forthcoming film. Bookmaker William Hill has cut the odds of Turner being named as the next James Bond from 3/1 to 8/13. The speculation was fueled by news that Turner resigned as director of his production company and social media posts showing him and his wife, Dua Lipa, drinking martinis. Former Bond actor Pierce Brosnan endorsed Turner in an interview with Vanity Fair, calling him "so strong." Other contenders include Jack Lowden and Josh O'Connor. Producer Amy Pascal has indicated that the casting news is likely to be revealed by the end of 2026.
