Heat eases slightly as extreme conditions continue across most of Israel

Following several days of intense heat, some relief is expected today, Saturday, as temperatures dip slightly across Israel. Despite this, severe to extreme heat stress is forecast to persist throughout most of the country. After morning cloud cover clears, skies are expected to turn mostly clear, with temperatures dropping slightly, particularly in mountainous and inland regions. A further slight decrease in temperatures is anticipated for Sunday. However, the relief will be brief, as temperatures are expected to rise again on Monday, primarily in the mountains and inland areas, where they will climb above seasonal averages. No significant changes to these conditions are expected on Tuesday.
