COGAT reports: 20-30% of aid entering Gaza is not food

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) announced in its weekly report that 70% to 80% of trucks entering the Gaza Strip last week carried food products. This data indicates that the remaining 20% to 30% of shipments consisted of non-food items. According to the report, hundreds of trucks carrying medical supplies, including wheelchairs, surgical equipment, and medications, entered the Gaza Strip. Dozens of additional trucks transported equipment for water and sewage systems, sanitation, and hygiene, such as large water tanks and chlorine tablets. Furthermore, COGAT reported that last Tuesday, approximately 150 Gaza residents with permits to travel to third countries departed the Gaza Strip via Israel and Jordan. Meanwhile, Gilad Erdan, chairman of the Ha'achdut party, visited the Kerem Shalom crossing to protest the transfer of humanitarian aid and the entry of foreign forces into Gaza.
