IRGC promotes ‘self-sacrifice’ campaign, ramps up efforts to hunt dissidents, critics abroad

The Jerusalem Post reports that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is promoting a new campaign titled 'self-sacrifice.' According to the report, the military entity is simultaneously working to expand the mobilization of its supporter base within Iran while ramping up efforts to identify and target critics and dissidents of the Islamic Republic abroad. These activities coincide with intensified security pressures on opposition figures internationally. Citing imagery of Basij forces at rallies, the Jerusalem Post describes these efforts as part of the Islamic Republic's broader strategy to consolidate its domestic base and counter dissent.
