‘Euphoria’ star accuses Iranian soccer player Ramin Rezaeian of inappropriate conduct

Jewell Farshad, an Iranian-American actress known for her role in the third season of HBO’s 'Euphoria,' has accused Iranian national soccer player Ramin Rezaeian of sending unsolicited sexual messages and pressuring her to meet him in Paris. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Farshad alleged that the interaction began during the World Cup, claiming Rezaeian repeatedly requested sexually explicit content and pressured her to bring other women to a meeting. Farshad likened the proposed gathering to an 'Epstein-esque' situation, citing the involvement of Iranian influencer Sasha Sobhani. Following her public allegations, Farshad reported receiving threats, including claims of a fatwa against her and accusations of being a Mossad agent. She questioned the double standards of the Islamic Republic, contrasting the treatment of women regarding hijab laws with the perceived impunity of athletes favored by the regime. Ramin Rezaeian has not yet responded to these allegations.
