Iran grants permission for Iraqi oil tankers to pass through Strait of Hormuz

Iraqi President Nizar Amedi stated that Iran has granted permission for a number of tankers carrying Iraqi oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz in recent days. This development follows discussions between Baghdad and Tehran regarding the export of Iraqi oil. According to reports, these vessels have successfully navigated the strategic waterway following a period of restricted maritime traffic. Reuters has also released images of the oil tanker 'HELGA' berthed at Iraq's southern offshore oil terminals near Basra, marking the resumption of crude oil loading operations in the area.
