Elderly Israeli woman violently attacked in Paris hotel

An Israeli tourist in her 80s was violently attacked during the night in her Paris hotel room. According to reports, an intoxicated man entered her room at approximately 3:00 a.m. and struck her in the face while she was in bed. The woman's screams alerted her family members, who were staying in nearby rooms. They rushed to the scene, subdued the suspect, and held him until police arrived to make an arrest. The victim was taken to a local hospital with severe injuries, including multiple facial fractures, and her family is currently working to transport her to Israel for surgery. While the incident initially raised concerns regarding a potential antisemitic motive, investigations by French authorities and Israeli consular officials have found no evidence to support this. Officials stated that the suspect appeared to be intoxicated and was unaware of the victim's nationality. Police are continuing to investigate how the intruder gained access to the hotel room.
