Yemeni Government Reports Seizure of IRGC Arms Shipment Bound for Houthis in Red Sea

The Yemeni government announced on Sunday that it had successfully seized an arms shipment in the Red Sea destined for the Houthi movement. According to Israel's Channel 14, the operation followed intelligence tracking of smuggling networks directly linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The seized items included advanced control and guidance systems for suicide drones, live video processing and transmission equipment, precision electronics, and wireless communication components for UAVs. This interception occurs amid a period of intense escalation between Houthi forces and the Saudi-backed Yemeni government, with reports of significant casualties on both sides. Meanwhile, the Iranian Minister of Petroleum recently claimed that U.S. sanctions have not impacted Iran, asserting that the process of selling and delivering oil to customers in international waters continues unabated.
