Susan Sarandon says she is still losing film roles over Gaza stance
Speaking at the Venice Film Festival, Susan Sarandon stated that she continues to face professional exclusion in Hollywood due to her stance on the war in Gaza. The Oscar-winning actress claimed that the industry's power structure is actively preventing her from securing new roles. Sarandon noted that while the public narrative surrounding Israel has shifted, she remains under pressure for her past remarks regarding Zionists. The actress was previously dropped by her talent agency following a speech at a pro-Palestinian rally in New York. Although she issued an apology at the time, Sarandon now asserts that she is still paying a professional price for her public position.
