Nobel laureate Mohammadi says Iranians are paying the price for war and repression

Human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi has issued a message from Evin Prison, warning of the critical situation facing the Iranian people. She stated that Iranian citizens are currently under the dual pressure of domestic repression and the consequences of the regional policies pursued by the regime ruling Iran. According to Mohammadi, the regime has taken the livelihoods and security of the people hostage through its continued warmongering policies. She emphasized that the heavy costs of these adventures are being paid directly by the Iranian people. The activist further stressed the necessity of solidarity to end the climate of suppression and tyranny.
