Rep. Randy Fine Wins Florida Primary Against Dan Bilzerian

Jewish Congressman Randy Fine secured a landslide victory in the Florida Republican primary on Tuesday, defeating challenger Dan Bilzerian. According to the Associated Press, Fine secured 56.7 percent of the vote compared to 18 percent for Bilzerian, who subsequently alleged electoral fraud on social media. The campaign was marked by inflammatory rhetoric and personal attacks. Bilzerian, a social media influencer, has previously spread conspiracy theories about Jews and faced criticism for antisemitic comments and a campaign video that referenced Adolf Hitler in a positive light. Fine, who is backed by Donald Trump, has also faced significant controversy for his own past remarks disparaging Muslims and Palestinians, which drew bipartisan criticism in Congress. Fine characterized Bilzerian as an open Nazi who entered the race specifically to target him. The campaign period also saw the defacement of Fine’s campaign signs with swastikas, an act condemned by Jewish advocacy groups.
