This marks the best advance ticket performance for any Lionsgate title post-Covid. While initial forecasts suggested $60M-$70M, the floor for the Francis Lawrence-directed prequel is now projected at $80M+. Prediction platform Polymarket estimates a 75% chance that the film will open to over $100M in North America.
