Sony Pictures to Adapt Liv Zander’s ‘The Heartstring Duet’ Book Series
According to Deadline, Sony Pictures is developing a feature film adaptation based on the 'The Heartstring Duet' book series by Liv Zander. The series, consisting of 'Crown Me Dead' and 'Crown Me Yours', blends dark fantasy, horror, and romance, having gained viral popularity following their self-publication this past April. The story follows Elara, a gravedigger's daughter in a plague-cursed kingdom, who enters a dangerous bargain to save her brother by seducing a reclusive king. As she uncovers the truth behind the curse, she must decide whether to become a willing sacrifice or fight for her survival.
