IDF eliminates two Hamas Nukhba terrorists in Gaza strike

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it struck two Hamas operatives late Sunday night in the Deir al-Balah area of the central Gaza Strip. Among those killed was Mohammad Abd al-Nasser Jabr Abu Asaad, a member of Hamas' Nukhba elite unit who had infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the October 7 massacre. According to the IDF, the operatives were actively planning new attacks against Israeli troops and civilians while attempting to rehabilitate the organization's capabilities. The military stated that the strike was conducted to neutralize an immediate threat. The IDF added that its troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area to continue operations against any emerging threats.
