19-Year-Old Arrested Following Shooting at Virginia State University

Police in Virginia have arrested 19-year-old Camron Harris in connection with a shooting that occurred early Saturday on the campus of Virginia State University. The suspect was found hiding in a dormitory closet. Five people, ranging in age from 17 to 23, were wounded in the incident, with one victim reported to be in critical condition. Authorities stated that only one of the injured individuals was a student, and they have since been released from the hospital. Police have obtained eight felony warrants for Harris, including charges of malicious wounding and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
