Bahrain Signs Participation Contract for Expo 2030 Riyadh

The Kingdom of Bahrain has officially signed its participation contract for Expo 2030 Riyadh. The agreement, signed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, and Talal Al-Marri, CEO of Expo 2030 Riyadh, establishes the operational framework for Bahrain’s presence at the six-month event. Sheikh Khalifa described the signing as a reflection of the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom’s commitment to playing an active role in the global exhibition. Bahrain plans to develop a sustainable pavilion designed to remain beyond the event as part of the 'Global Village' legacy. Talal Al-Marri noted the growing momentum, confirming that over 145 countries have now committed to participating. Expo 2030 Riyadh is scheduled to run from 1 October 2030 to 31 March 2031 under the theme 'Foresight for Tomorrow,' with organizers expecting over 200 official participants and 42 million visits.
