Election results approved despite fears of interference

According to Arutz Sheva, the Central Elections Committee in Israel approved the final results of the 26th Knesset elections on Wednesday with 15 votes in favor, two against, and 14 abstentions. Committee Chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg stated that while allegations of foreign interference are being investigated, they remain unsubstantiated and do not warrant delaying the certification of the results. According to the final tally, Likud secured 27 seats, followed by Yashar with 21 and Beyachad with 12. Officials noted that a review of 9,069 polling stations found no evidence of compromised integrity. The investigation into foreign interference will continue, but the approval allows President Isaac Herzog to begin formal consultations for the formation of the next government.
