Clashes between rival families in Israel; police report shooting to neutralize threat

Israeli police announced that officers opened fire on two individuals in order to neutralize a threat. The security agency denied allegations that their actions were prolonging a feud between rival families. Conversely, local residents state that a temporary truce between the feuding families cannot be reached until the two men are buried.
