IDF Chief of Staff: Special forces operations will be written in the pages of history

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited the Palmachim Air Force base on Sunday, accompanied by Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Omer Tischler, to assess the force's defensive and offensive readiness. During the visit, Zamir met with members of the special forces and expressed his appreciation for their operational contributions across all fronts. He stated that the operations carried out by these troops were unprecedented, requiring courage, imagination, and exceptional execution capabilities, noting that most of these missions cannot be discussed publicly. The Chief of Staff emphasized that these activities would be written into the pages of IDF history and hold strategic significance. Zamir also reaffirmed the military's vigilance on all fronts and expressed his deep appreciation to reservists for their central role in the ongoing multi-front conflict.
