Pakistan Army Chief to Visit Tehran Amid Mediation Efforts Between Iran and US

According to the Jerusalem Post, the Pakistani army chief is scheduled to visit Tehran as part of the country's ongoing mediation role between Iran and the United States. Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the visit is a continuation of Pakistan's efforts to strengthen peace and security in the region. Previously, in May, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, in Tehran.
