Besieged Palestinians in Qusra say IDF is blocking them in

Palestinian residents in the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, report that the IDF is preventing them from leaving their homes by enforcing a closed military zone order. These families had been under siege since August 9 by extremist settlers attempting to force them to flee. While the IDF conducted an operation last week to temporarily relocate the families and remove the settlers, residents say they are now effectively trapped by the military. Yusuf Hassan, a resident, expressed fear that settlers would return as soon as the troops depart. Reports indicate that UN representatives attempted to deliver food and water to the families, but security forces prevented a water tanker from remaining on-site. Meanwhile, footage has emerged appearing to show settlers on ATVs near the area. The IDF has not provided a comment on the situation.
