Donald Trump: Iran will not obtain a nuclear weapon

US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he plans to hold meetings regarding the war with Iran, reiterating that the regime ruling Iran will not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. Speaking to reporters after meeting the Mayor of New York, Trump stated, "They’re not gonna have a nuclear weapon. Let me just put it that way. And they’re not doing well. In fact, I have meetings on it today." These comments follow a warning from Revolutionary Guard spokesman Hossein Mohebbi, who stated that Iran is prepared for the conflict to continue and could alter its military strategy. "The war is not over," Mohebbi told state media. "We will certainly change the geography of the war and bring new weapons with new capabilities into the battle." He further warned that Iran could expand its list of targets. Trump told Fox News that he is considering options including further military action, continued economic pressure, and a potential agreement. Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian claimed that Tehran does not want war but will not yield to pressure, asserting that Iran remains committed to its agreements despite having no trust in its adversaries.
