Smyth to return as starting Saints kicker on Sunday

According to BBC Sport, New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore has confirmed that Charlie Smyth will start as the team's kicker against the Cleveland Browns at the Caesars Superdome this Sunday. The decision follows the termination of Daniel Carlson's contract due to inconsistent performance. Smyth, a 25-year-old former Gaelic footballer from Mayobridge in County Down, made his NFL debut last season. Moore praised Smyth's development while on the practice squad and expressed confidence in his readiness. The Saints have struggled this season, recording only two wins from seven games.
